Jonas Vaitkus
Jonas Vaitkus é nato nella regione di Reseiniai nel 1944. Vaitkus si è laureato all'Istituto Statale di Musica, Teatro e Cinematografia di San Pietroburgo nel 1974. Vaitkus è stato Direttore del Teatro Drammatico di Kaunas dal1975 al 1988, dal 1988 è diventato Direttore artistico del Teatro Drammatico Statale Lituano. Performances dirette da Jonas Vaitkus sono state presentate in festival internazionali, in Germania, Russia, Georgia, Scozia, Stati Uniti, Francia, Finlandia e Svezia. Numerosi sono i premi vinti dalle sue opere.
