Anželika Cholina (in italiano Anzelika Cholina - Vilnius, 1970) ha iniziato la sua carriera come coreografa nel 1991 mentre studiava all'Accademia Teatrale di Mosca (GITIS). Attualmente, diventata una delle coreografe più conosciute in Lituania dopo 18 anni di carriera, continua a creare performarnces per le platee più prestigiose del paese. A. Cholina è stata premiata con il Kristoforas National Theatre Award per la sua coreografia del balletto "Medea" presentato al Teatro Nazionale Lituano per il Balletto e l'Opera nel 1996, recentemente ha ricevuto il “Golden stage cross” Theatre award per la performance di danza “Othello” (2006). Gli studenti della Scuola di Balletto di Vilnius e dell'Accademia di danza di Monaco hanno presentato con grande successo coreografie di A. Cholina in numerose competizioni internazionali, Losanna, Varna, Mosca, Parigi, Tokyo, New York, Stoccolma, Monaco ed Helsinki. Durante la sua carriera A. Cholina ha prodotto 5 atti singoli di balletto, più di 50 miniature coreografiche e 12 performances di danza. L'ultimo lavoro di Anželika Cholina è la performance “The coast of women” (in originale “Songs of women”, basato sulle canzoni di Marlene Dietrich), che è stato rappresentato nell'agosto 2008 al Teatro E. Vachtangov Theatre di Mosca.

1996 – participated in the ArtGenda project in Copenhagen

1996 – two acts ballet Medea by A. Rekašius (stage designer M. Jacovskis, costume designer J. Statkevičius, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre). Performance was awarded St. Christopher’s Prize for the best choreography of the Lithuanian Theatre Season

1996 – choreography to the performance "Mysteries of Love" by R. Vitrac (director C. Graužinis, Lithuanian National Drama Theatre)

1996–1997 – directed gala concerts organized by P. Skirmantas "Dance" Foundation, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre

Anželika Cholina, born in Vilnius in 1970, began choreographing in 1991, while studying at the Moscow Theatre Academy (GITIS). Today, having become during her 18-year career one of the best-known choreographers in Lithuania, she continues her artistic work creating performances for the most prestigious stages in the country.  A. Cholina was awarded the Kristoforas National Theatre Award for her choreography of the ballet performance “Medea” staged at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (1996), and recently received the “Golden stage cross” Theatre award for the dance performance “Othello” (2006).The pupils of Vilnius Ballet School and Munich dance academy with great success presented A. Cholina’s choreographic miniatures at the international ballet competitions in Lausanne, Varna, Moscow, Paris, Tokyo, New York, Stockholm, Munich and Helsinki.
