gytis_profile.mazaGytis Ivanauskas é un attore e ballerino nato il 01 Giugno 1980 in Ukmergė, Lituania. Ha ha studiato arte nel M. K. Čiurlionis art high school e, nel 1999, è stato ammesso alla facoltà di Teatro e Cinema della Accademia di Musica Lituana dove, nel 2004, si è laureato come attore e ballerino. Nel 2000 Ivanauskas inizia la sua attività professionale recitando nel ruolo dell'adolescente Kurt nell'opera di M. von Mayenburg, Fireface, diretto da Oskaras Koršunovas. I ruoli che lo hanno reso famoso sono: Romeo nel Romeo e Giulietta di W. Shakespeare (diretto da Oskaras Koršunovas) e Raskolnikov nel Delitto e Castigo di F.Dostojevskij (diretto da Gintaras Varnas ). G. Ivanauskas ha preso parte a numerosi progetti di danza, ha creato la scenografia per il suo one-man show Il Faro (diretto da G. Varnas).

Nel 2005 ha fondato il suo Gyčio Ivanausko teatras dove dirige gli spettacoli:  Hallmark, Men in White Skirts e I Love You So Much. Numerosi sono i riconoscimenti che G.
