Oskaras Koršunovas
Oskaras Koršunovas (in italiano Oskaras Korsunovas - Vilnius, 1969). Nel 1993 si è laureato in regia teatrale (sotto la direzione di Jonas Vaitkus).
A partire dal 1990 ha portato in scena circa 30 spettacoli in teatri lituani e stranieri.
Da subito, Koršunovas ha creato il suo stile personale ed ha definito il concetto del suo teatro. Koršunovas trasforma il caos, i paradossi, l'assurdo e la frammentazione della vita moderna, nel loro principio di base, applicando un soffio vitale alla vita attuale del teatro.
Koršunovas ha vinto numerosi premi, tra i quali citiamo il Premio Europa per il Teatro Delle Nuove Realtà. Le sue produzioni hanno girato in molti festival internazionali in Europa, America, Asia e Australia. Egli appartiene alla generazione di registi che ha attratto l'attenzione di molti organizzatori di iniziative e progetti internazionali, dopo la caduta del muro di Berlino, come fonte di energia nel nuovo teatro.
